A Timeless Connection: Our 50th Year Reunion

The big 50th anniversary bash is now history, and what an event it was! The sun shined on us throughout the weekend, with blue skies and warm temperatures. We started with a fun golf outing at Arrowhead Country Club on Friday morning. Friday evening we met and partied at Walther’s Twin Tavern in North Canton. It was a great day to start the celebration!

Then Saturday morning, many of us gathered at the Glenwood school building for a tour of our alma mater. It was quite an adventure being able to roam the halls and rekindle memories of days gone by!

Saturday evening was the signature event of the weekend – the reunion dinner at Tozzis on 12th. . We had nearly 100 classmates and many spouses, guests and friends in attendance. It was four and a half hours of non-stop visiting and catching-up on all the years ! We had a wonderful buffet dinner and enough program to keep it fun.

Thanks to all who made our 50th such a grand occasion. It will be the last formal big production. Let’s look forward to future gatherings yet to be determined. If you have any suggestions, do not hesitate to share them with any of the Reunion Committee members. Going forward, Doyle Miller and Tom Tracy will be leading the Reunion Committees.

Last, but not least important, thanks to our Class President, Keith LePage, for his unwavering and steadfast service to the Glenwood Class of 75! Keith led these reunion committees over the years, with the exception of the very first class reunion in December, 1979 (because he was on active duty in the United States Coast Guard). We’re grateful for Keith’s leadership, positive outlook and stick-to-itiveness! Job well done!
